bioreactor
Este simple artefacto fue un bioreactor perfecto para el crecimiento de hongos. Se mantuvo a una temperatura entre 25 a 30 grados centígrados. Lo cual permitió que en una semana crecieran hongos que fueron captados en la Fazenda, creando MICROambientes.

This simple artefact was a perfect bioreactor for fungi growing. It maintained a temperature between 23 to 30 centigrades. We have controlled the temperature and light using a couple of lamps and a plastic container. Over a week fungi, collected from the fazenda, had growed up in the petri dishes and recycle dishes creating MICROenvironments.

Usamos el MICROscopio para amplificar pequeñas cosas del ambiente, incluyendo seres vivos. Tomamos fotos e hicimos videos con la intención de mezclarlos en la noche con una proyección de video en una pared grande. Las manos y hojas aparecieron como parte de una intersección entre el proyecto radio-planta y MICROmacro. (siguiente entrada)

We used the MICROscope to amplify many tiny objects and living surrounding us. We took photos and made videos intentionally to mix them at night through a videobeam-projection on the big wall. Hands and leafs had vanished as part of an intersection between radioplanta project and MICROmacro. (next post)

Con la ayuda de Paloma Oliveira y el equipo de rural.scapes exploramos un poco más acerca de "MICROmacro". La Saliva de paloma fue impresa en un vidrio usando el método de tinción de gram. Ya en la noche usando un proyector análogo construido por Patricio Dalgo que amplificó la imagen en una pared.

With the help of Paloma Oliveira an rural.scapes' team, we explored a bit more about how to MICROmacro. Saliva from Paloma was printed in a glass using gram's method of staining. At night we used analog projector (built by Patricio Dalgo) which projected the picture on the wall.
También experimentamos con otro tipo de tinción llamada azul de lactophenol, usado en microbiología para visualizar la fisiología de hongos. Pintamos hongos colectados y cultivados en la Fazenda.

We also experimented with another kind of stain, it is called lactophenol cotton blue, used by microbiology to visualise fungi physiologies. We Painted collected-cultivated fungi from the Fazenda.

Hoy MICROmacro empezó su jornada experimentado con tinciones a microorganismos. Replicamos el metodo de tinción de gram usado en microbiología.

Today, MICROmacro started off to experiment with staining to microorganism. We replicated the Gram's method in microbiology.
Después de lograr una tinción/pintura aceptable intentamos proyectarla usando sistemas análogos de lentes, luces y proyectores.

As soon as we obtained an acceptable staining/painting we tried to project it through analog system of lens, and projectors.

Visita en la fazenda / guest in the fazenda
El sábado la fazenda recibió visitantes de lugares aledaños. Con ellos estuvimos tomando fotografías MICROscópicas con nuestros teléfonos. En la noche estas imágenes fueron proyectadas en la fachada de la casa. Efecto MICROmacro.

On saturday the fazenda was visited for local people. We had been taking MICROScopy photos with them using our smartphones. At night these photos had projected to the facade of the house. MICROmacro effect.
